EMFACE, Coming in 2022, Will “Revolutionize Facial Aesthetics”

    By Surgical TimesJanuary 13, 2022

Patients can expect the brand-new EMFACE™ technology by BTL Aesthetics to be commercially available later this year, says its VP of Business Development, Ron Borsheim.

EMFACE uses patented technology of muscle contraction and skin tissue heating, simultaneously emitting both radio frequency and electromagnetic energies to non-invasively shape the body and tighten the skin in treatment areas.

“EMFACE will do for the face what Emsculpt did for the body,” says board-certified New York facial plastic surgeon Dr. Yael Halaas. “EMFACE presents a paradigm shift in facial treatments,” she says.

Founded in 1993, BTL has grown to become one of the world’s major medical and aesthetic equipment manufacturers. VP Sales Scott Mills sees EMFACE as a natural evolution of BTL’s muscle building therapies. “We promised our stakeholders there was a vision behind our muscle building technologies. As we round out our portfolio, we are deeply committed to each market we serve. We will continue to invest in establishing trusted brand names that provide a two-for-one benefit in terms of form and function.”

BTL’s existing brands include EMSCULPT, EMSCULPT NEO, EMSELLA, EMFEMME 360, EMTONE, and BTL Exilis ULTRA.
