55 and Up: The Best Age for a Facelift

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons estimates that in the year 2019, some 123,685 patients had a facelift within the United States, making it the fifth most popular plastic surgery that year. Ninety percent of those patients were women, and sixty-six percent of them were 55-years-old or older.

Sixty-six percent of facelifts are done on patients 55-years-old and older, and 32 percent of facelifts are done on patients who are between the ages of 40 and 54.
