A Beverly Hills plastic surgeon responded Tuesday to a patient’s claims that he botched her own and others’ noses during rhinoplasty surgery, and was reportedly having negative reviews of his practice deleted from the Internet.
Evie Magazine published Friday the account of a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon’s patient, who in viral TikTok videos shared that the surgeon had botched her nose during a rhinoplasty procedure.
The woman, who goes by the name @evahfourevah on TikTok, reportedly heard from “multiple girls” after sharing her story, who she says say that they, too, experienced similarly dissatisfactory results.
Surgical Times brought the article and allegations it contained to the attention of the surgeon’s practice Tuesday.
Legal counsel for the doctor provided a statement by email, which they attributed to Dr. Donald B. Yoo:
“Dr. Donald Yoo is a board-certified and fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon and internationally recognized rhinoplasty specialist. During his eleven years of practice, he has helped over 5,000 satisfied patients achieve their aesthetic goals. He strives to maximize each patient’s individual beauty and prides himself in treating everyone fairly and as if a part of his own family. He is confident that any purported complaint raised by his patients is addressed in a respectful and sensitive manner.”
In messages to Surgical Times, the former patient said she is considering legal action, and has thus declined media interviews from three national publications, which she listed.
