Jolie, Jenner, Fox, and Johansson Top ‘Most-Requested Celebrity Lips’ List

    By Surgical TimesFebruary 19, 2023

Patients often use pictures of celebrities to help convey the look they’re attempting to approximate through plastic surgery or other cosmetic work.

Given the ease of obtaining the photos, and their typical attractiveness, they can be a good reference point for patients and their surgeons or aesthetic injectors.

One plastic surgeon says that as far as the often desired or perfect lips are concerned, more patients want lips like actress Angelina Jolie’s than of any other celebrity figure.

In order of popularity, Angelina Jolie, Kylie Jenner, Megan Fox, and Scarlett Johansson top the list of the most commonly requested celebrity lips according to Dr. Matthew Schulman, a board-certified New York plastic surgeon.

    Angelina Jolie

Of actress Angelina Jolie’s lips, the surgeon says, “people really like that pouty lower lip with that little line right down the middle.”

    Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner has the second most sought-after lips, according to the surgeon, who defines these patient’s interests—and what makes Jenner’s lips so popular or attractive—as “just an overall fullness, [with the] bottom lip still fuller than the top.”

    Megan Fox

Lips like Megan Fox’s are the third most commonly requested according to the surgeon. The surgeon says Fox’s lips “are a classic. Full lower lip, with a small upper lip.”

    Scarlett Johansson

American actress Scarlett Johansson, who “has [lips that are] the opposite of Megan Fox,” is the fourth most popular celebrity who patients want their lips to look like, according to Dr. Schulman. “She actually has a fuller upper lip as compared to the lower lip.”

“Everyone has a preference,” the surgeon shared Sunday. “It may not be yours, but people definitely request those.”

Aside from their common use as examples of the looks hoped for from plastic surgery, celebrity culture can negatively influence some people to modify their bodies or get plastic surgery to begin with.
